Arrow RZR Chassis Bones

This kit from All Terrain Research reinforces the RZR's rear frame section by sleeving the upper and lower rear frame tubes. The Chassis Bones are precision CNC machined and increase the thickness of the frame tubes by 130%. They are a bolt on install, utilizing ATR's unique end piece design. As the machine screws are tightened the tube firmly clamps itself in place. The kit includes machined end pieces with rubber o-rings that seal out mud and watter and also improves the RZR's finished look by closing up the open tubes. All pieces come in a Zinc Chromate finish and include stainless machine screws.

On sale for $199

Steel with zinc chromate finish. Best part about these i think is they help prevent the frame tubes from corroding from the inside out. In our area the frame tubes can get packed with mud and it is a real pain trying to get it all out with a pressure washer.

Re: RZR Chassis Bones

You can get a weld in kit that includes front and back for less then half the "sale" price. Of course you have to do some welding, but I can guarantee I can find someone to tac weld those in for a case of beer....

Re: RZR Chassis Bones

Guys, we understand that what we manufacture is not for everyone nor is it for everyone's budget, that’s why we live in a country with choices. We do feel comparing four, saw cut pieces of tubing to our kit is not an 'apples to apples' comparison. We specify a certain tubing wall thickness, OD and country of origin (USA manufactured DOM tubing with certificates) on our material. The material costs are not necessarily less than say larger material due to our specific specifications. We are looking for a certain air gap of .010" (of an inch) around the tubing when installed. Why do you ask? Because we feel that is the most cost effective way versus OD turning a part to hold .003" to .005" clearance. The tubing is cut on a Trumpf Tube Laser including all the slots and holes, not with a band saw or chop saw. The part has a machined insert, welded, buffed and zinc plated so it does not rust in your frame. The end caps are machined, deburred, tumbled clean and plated. The USA sourced hardware is stainless steel and we even included the correct drill bit for the installation. When we manufacture the part there also has to be profit available for all parties involved (including us) and that includes dealers and the warehouse distributors that carry our products and pay American workers who need to feed their families. We do appreciate all criticisms if they are based on quality or engineering. Our goal is to provide the highest quality product with the highest level engineering to back it up.

The 09' kits will be available in the weeks to come.

Re: RZR Chassis Bones

Oh I wasn't knocking your kit, just wishing it were more competitively priced with another offering. (Which I have on my RZR.) You are absolutely correct when you say that the kit is not for everyone and I'm sure there are plenty of consumers out there who are willing to pay your asking price. It looks to be very well thought out and has a great fit and finish. I especially like the way the caps give the installation a clean look. Best of luck on your sales.

Here's a drawing of the version 2 bones. The 09's will look like this as well.

Re: RZR Chassis Bones

That was well spoken Ted.

Nobody can compare this product to the other tubes that are being sold. The fit and finish and well engineered design is worth every bit of the extra cash IMO.

Are you making a kit for the front?
