Garmin Nuvi 500 GPS

We are currently out of stock on the Nuvi 500, but we have plenty of the Nuvi 550's. (same GPS, but Nuvi 550 does not come with topo maps installed)

I ordered my two female 1.75" Billet Silver Anodized Mounts from Mike @ Axia Alloys and the Garmin Nuvi 550 Cradle from RAM...

I told Mike @ Axia Alloys about having to use a shorter 10mm bolt so he included them with my mounts... I also sent him your posted install pictures...

I am very interested in the Nuvi 500.. Found it for around $200... What's your price including shipping to 92567. And with a forum discount if you would offer it.

Will the Nuvi 500 allow a person to see the way they came thru a trail offroad and allow them to easily backtrack. Is easy to miss turns and that would be helpful. If it won't, It wouldn't be very helpful.

yes it has a track back feature built in.

I have 550 just got it cool toy, but I was wondering can you install a Topo Maps on 500?

I meant visa versa I have one with Topo Map. Can you install topo maps on other one with-out topo map?

i doint think you can ?? i never tried ,i do have southwest topo maps on the garmin cd if you need it.

Yes you can install topo on the 550. The 500 and 550 are the same unit both have US street maps. 500 is preloaded with topo. The 550 is is preloaded with Europe.
