Help me decide on new tire size!!!

I have decided to go with 14x7 wheels 4+3. I cannot decide between the following three sizes. I will be going with ether Bighorn or Bighorn 2.0s...

28x9x14
28x10x14
29x9x14

I don't want to do a lift and bandits will be in the near future. The 10 wife's are the heaviest so I'm leaning toward the 9s. But let me know

Thanks

Re: Help me decide on new tire size!!!

I run 28 x 10 all around with Bighorns and have been very happy and don't feel any loss of power.

I'm looking at doing what Icharlot65 did. That's a sick look.

Icharlot65,
How wide are you with that setup? and did it help your ground clearance also?
I'm searching also for new tires from stock. Can you tell any difference in handling with the 4/3 14s setup vs the stock setup?
Looking to stay 50 if possible since I ride where a lot of the trails have 50 with requirements. but looking for additional ground clearance.

TIA

Re: Help me decide on new tire size!!!

I noticed no difference in control but I did notice a smoother ride. I gained 2" ride height. I am a hair under 55" wide now

Seeing as how the "stock" tires and rims are NOT 50" but are 51", there is no way you can go up in size and stay at 50". I have a set of 4 Big Horns 27x9x12 and am still not down to 50", but close enough for most gates.

Just did 140 miles at Hatfield McCoy buffalo mountain with the bighorn 2.0's. These are 27's and they do run on the smaller side. Everyone says the 2.0's are junk but I was impressed with them. They are lighter than regular big horns. My friend got a puncture on his mud lites. Mine held up just fine 🏻
