Made a cover for the center box with some Lexan, a small hinge and some adhesive backed foam to keep the dust out. Also made a small handle and took a hair elastic from my wife's stuff to keep it closed. Also put a small Fiskars ax mounted to the back of the seat.

So far,

Factory UTV 1/2" skids with arm guards and rock sliders, Pro Armor 3" 5 point harnesses.

Working on a stand/middle seat for my Australian Shepard to ride between the wife and I.

Waiting on my Pops to decide if he is going to order a 2" lift for his 08 800 so we can order lifts together. Save a little on shipping. Either way, 2" Racer Tech lift, 14x7 HD STI beadlocks, and 28x10x14 Mongrels will be coming soon.

Haha I wouldnt know i drove it from the trialer to where you see it in the pics:rofl3: Yes those tires are heavy though but man they look good and everybody seems to like them.

Bcorum your grandpas 900 looks real sweet. I am sure you both will enjoy it. I hope you can get out this weekend for a ride.
Maybe next weekend:eek:k: My grandpa is pretty particular haha

Desert drifter, the reason he got a 50 inch which is also what I have (800) is because the trials we ride are not wide but there is no 50 inch gates or anything. If the tire hits a tree or something as long as youre not going fast no big deal but if you hit those wide fender flares or doors on the S that sucks to scratch a 16000 dollar machine or whatever the S cost. Also if you put those wheels and tires on a S youll be at 62-64 inch wide, thats not even close to fitting our trials. The 900 trial is now at 54.5 inches, narrower than the XC for cheaper and looks better:eek:k:

how long did it take to install the upper windows?
one or two people?
and do they come with good instructions?
thanks
[/QUOTE]

The instructions were pretty good i think...I did them by myself and i probably took me about an hour....You have to take the door skins off in order to put the nut on the backside... When i have time i am going to tack weld the nut in place so it is just 4 bolts per door to remove...You have to do so adjusting here and there to get them to fit good....
