Polaris plow mount with RM3 Moose 60 inch plow, moose winch line saver, polaris winch switch on a the gear shifter, tethered plow remote.

Bent the plow last year but got it straightened out over the summer.

Now that is an interesting setup. I have a 60" moose snow plow that has the push tube. All I need to convert it to front mount is the Polaris mount and the RM3 pushtube?

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

I'd say yes. I bought that plow setup from the dealership so I would guess its readily available through Moose and or Polaris. I'd start with Moose since its all moose stuff. I liked that set up so you dont have to connect it under the machine.

How did you bend your plow? Having mine for 10 years I haven't bent mine.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

Another stealership mess up. They never set the tension on the springs so they were almost loose. I was going forward faster than I should have been and plow came down and caught on the ground and bent it. I was pi$$ed. After setting the tension properly and got it unbent I havent had a problem since.

I should also add I have a plastic wear bar thats fit in between the metal bar and plow. I'm lucky we have a local plastics plant that makes it for the big snow plows and I got a piece and cut it into 2 bars. I have flipped it once a year. I'll put the next piece on over the summer if its worn enough again to require the next one.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

Eagle 72" plow with home-made rear-hitch mounted push tube. After using this a bunch this winter I think a 60" would be too narrow when angled, especially if you're going around curves.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

We have had good success with the Motoalliance and have since dropped the Eagle brand, our choice on that. The motoalliance is heavier duty with the newest model than the Eagle and first model Moto had.

Depends on which RZR I had but would not get the 60" 66" min and 72" being the norm. Why? Turning on angle like mentioned above can leave a tire out in snow.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

I purchased a 66" for my 50" razor and it works perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

I use a 60" Warn and love it. I angle the blade and dont have any issues with it no clearing the full width of the RZR and I have bigger tires and inch and a half spacers. For the record, I just have the 50" RZR too, so that makes a difference. I dont use the most extreme tilt because then the blade would be in the tires anyway. Ive used the Warn Plows on my ATV's and it made it an easy choice for the RZR as well. I like the fact that the mount is up and out of the way and I can leave it installed all summer. it doesnt take away any ground clearance.

I like the motoalliance plow system as well and probably would of went that route had they came out with it 2 months sooner than they did. Ive had zero issues with my Warn, but I can assure you that their service would be nothing like Moto's. You will be happy with either one.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

I like your setup. Did you replace your plastic rope with a flat strap?

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

Yep. Spooled out the rope fully and duct taped a cheap boat winch strap about 6' long. A few wraps on the drum makes it work. I kept the rope on there as its really tough to access the knot as easy to convert back to summer mode.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

I plow with a Polaris Glacier II 60" Plow on my RZR 800. I have used it for four years, and it works great. I use synthetic rope on the winch because the cable doesn't work too well plowing.

Re: Razor 800 Plow setups

Anybody tried it with a bucket attachment?

I was considering renting a skid loader to move some gravel around the property and fill a couple of low spots in a dirt driveway, but after seeing some of these set ups, I am wondering if this would be a better option - plus I'd have the rig full time.
