Colorado Tire size 50" RZR

Don't mean to whip a dead horse here but.... I have a 2008 RZR 50" width. I want to replace the tires with something bigger, and not buy new rims,:greenrzr: or add spacers Will 26x11x12 rear and 26x9x12 fronts fit? I don't mind doing a little grinding on the motor mount if need be. Looking at some Bear claws over at RMATV. Are there any other tires that size anyone would recommend? :greenrzr:

I have 26" on mine with 15" wheels. All are fine except the left front when I make sharp left turns. Then it runs the footwell. 1in spacers would
Get rid of that

Re: Tire size 50" RZR

You shouldn't have problems with those. Like was stated above, maybe some rubbing on compression during a turn but nothing that's a huge deal. I have 26x9x14 Big Horns and get a little rub when compressing the suspension and turning sharply.

Re: Tire size 50" RZR

I have the new ITP Blackwater Evolutions in the 26 x 9 and 26 x 11 on 12 inch rims and they do fine. When the RZR is jacked up the inside wall tread of the rear tires just nip the edge of the plastic skid plate but I don't think it's rubbing when underway. There's no room to spare though.

26X9X12 Bighorns all the way around. They will work on you stock rear wheels if you grind the motor mount. Most folk buy fronts to put them on the rear, no grinding the mount.

27" Zilla's here,11's on the rear and 9's on the front,at full droop the right rear will rub the mount a little but not enough to have any issues.

Re: Tire size 50" RZR

You will need 4+3 wheels or spacers to clear the motor mount on the passenger side rear. I am running ITP wheels to get my clearence with the bighorns and i have just enough room to make it work.

2010 Stealth Black LE
26'' Bighorns
ITP SS212s
Lots of EMP goodies

Re: Tire size 50" RZR

I have just gone through this on my 50" with stock rims and a 26x10-12 will rub big time. I ended up going with a stock size rears 25x10-12 set up with the gbc radial Spartans and they just clear the frame by 1/4 inch when jacked up on right rear.
I have been told if you run front rims all the way around you can run 26x9-12 and they will clear but a 26x10-12 will rub even on a front rim on the rear because I tried to do that before I went back to the stock size and it will not work. With out rubbing or modifying the mount. Rapidrobert...
