which is better 2013 front springs or highlifter

I have a 2012 50" rzr has a little over 500 miles front shocks are on stiffest setting and sag badly. I want to change to better springs are the 2013 oem progressive springs holding up or do they sag fast too. Which would be better the oem 2013 or highlifter? I have heard good things about the makin trax but it does not look like they sell them anymore. What would be the best replacement springs that will hold there height.

Got 2013 owners working on that question right now.

So far I haven't noticed any sag in mine. Only have about 150 miles on it. Need to take measurements to see if or when they do.

Re: which is better 2013 front springs or highlifter

I can't speak for the OEM 2013 springs, but I have a set of Highlifter springs on my 2011. IMHO, they are a huge improvement over stock. They gave me the ground clearance I wanted without going to a lift kit.

Re: which is better 2013 front springs or highlifter

Do they keep the front end up? Now when i park it the shocks are half way compressed rear seems ok just the front sags. I went ahead and bought the full set because mine does buck some in the rear it sounds like the rear dual rate helps take care of that. What posistion do you run your adjusters on?

I have very little preload on my S with fox podium shocks, my 50" has Afco MT-1 shocks, and basically snugged spring retainers to keep springs in place, no preload. They will definitely keep the front end up. I have the heavy rate on both machines.

Re: which is better 2013 front springs or highlifter

The King Progressive springs (225# fronts and 250# rears) from Makintrax or UTV Inc. work EXTREMELY well and are a perfect match for the Fox-Podium shocks, set to mid-range on the damping. You'll end-up with a bit over 13" of ground-clearance, front and back. And, in nearly 2000 miles of running, I've detected NO sagging-out. Just my two-bits........

Cheers

Those springs are awesome, love mine. Work well with Walker Evans shocks as well.

Re: which is better 2013 front springs or highlifter

I just tested the Racer tech heavy spring and I am very
Pleased. I was bottoming out all the time with the OEM
springs set at their stiffest setting. I only set these on the
2nd notch up too.

They do make a lot more squeaking noise tho... but dont
Really notice that when driving hard. LoL
