RZR 570 problems
500 miles and there are several.
Squeaky rear suspension, BAD, even after greasing zerks and taking suspension apart to grease the joints without zerks I have sqeaking back not long after, its real annoying. 2 ripped cv boots, and one broken front outer cv joint. The joint may well have been my fault, not sure, dont know when it happened but its rattling pretty bad inside that boot. The boots should not be ripping. this thing has been treated well, broken in properly and I am not particulary happy with it. Also has rough clutch engagement at times and also seems grabby and in and out of engagement at low speeds. performance is great, I put amsoil fluids throughout, installed a uni air filter and a NGK iridium spark plug ideas? advice? taking it in this week when the cv parts and boots come in. hoping polaris will warranty it, dealer said he will do all he can. will ask about the squeaks and clutching issues when i do |

Mine squeaked like crazy too...until I disconnected the sway bars. Now the annoying squeak is gone and the ride is MUCH smoother.

I never had any of those issues, I had one of the first recalls on the K-rod, but other than that no problems. Polaris even extended my warranty so I ended up with a 18 month warranty from the purchase date. I'm so pleased with them, I'm going to be buying an xp 900 before too long. My dealer, Johnny at pacific Motorsports made all the difference in the world. If your dealer is worth his salt, he'll get your stuff fixed order warranty.

What sort of terrain are you going through? Torn boots will happen if they physically get struck with pointy or sharp things. A arm protectors may help. They can get weak with age but that takes many years normally.

Yes, sell your Polaris, and Jump on your Honda Big Red SXS. And TRY to follow me.
Ohh and tell me about that fine school bus ride. It might fit at a parking spot space in the mall. Really, the Japanese MFG's are out to lunch on their sxs. Fit and finish is there. Fun factor? Zip. Polaris is the ride of choice for fun factor, but I agree fit and finish are lacking. Fix it, sell it, go buy your Honda. I'll stick with my 570, and fix things and make them better as I go. I'll wave at you when I ride by the mall! Shoe.

The low speed miss is there for everyone. For Polaris to pass emissions, they leaned out the fuel, having the stutter or miss at certain rpm's. Read some of the earlier posts in the 570 section, some good reading about this issue.
A partial cure is a specific NKG sparkplug, a better cure is a fuel controller, that richens the mixture at certain rpm's. You are right it should not be there, but the dealer is correct this is "normal" for the 570. All the best, Shoe.

I'll wave at you when I ride by the mall! Say I've got a boat made by polaris and your out in the ocean. Now mind you ,you already admit fit and finish not that good. So here it leaks and pump to get rid of the water has issues. So you call 800 # and told take it to your dealer to fix it. Did that several times. Dealer can't fix the problem. So you rather be wet and sink with your great Polaris customer service and little 50" boat . Or have a big boat and stay dry and not be shark bait Shoe. |

I don't worry about Polaris customer service, I fix what I ride.
If you can't start it, if you can't wrench it, you shouldn't ride it. Shoe.
