Anybody have to pay and outrageous price for their 25hr service? Local dealer quoted me $250-270. Haven't done it yet, just checking how badly they're ripping people off. Another dealer 60 miles away quoted me $75

i wanna say mine on both rides was free,

Nothing is ever "Free" , Just because it say's free on paper dosn't mean you didn't pay for it somewhere somehow....... just saying....

Cost of all fluids, filters & spark plug is just shy of $100. I don't know what the "book time" is to perform this service but know it takes me 2-2.5hr to perform. Most shops charge about $65-$80hr "shop rate". So $250 seems close assuming all fluids, filters, spark plug will be changed & CVT belt checked. I guess you need to find out what they intend to do as part of the service. If it only includes changing oil & filter & just checking everything else.......Not a good deal if you can do it yourself.....

I just dropped mine off for the 25hr service, I was quoted $225. That is complete fluid change, check belt, change plug, change filters. My service guy says Polaris is running a promo on the air filter, and he can get me one for free buy sending mine in. Maybe the difference in price is how complete the service is as far as fluids, filters, etc. The price of the air filter will be subtracted from the overall costs.

My dealer is Placerville Polaris in Placerville CA. They rec'm combining the 25 hour and 50 hour service all at 25 hours. The 50 hour service is complete chassis lube and inspection. I believe this is very good idea because of all the reports of major need for full chassis lube on new machines. I do not have the price yet for this combined service but I will follow this recommendation.

25 hour service per manual includes change break-in oil and oil filter, inspect battery terminals, inspect fluid levels of demand drive and tranny, and inspect air filter and replace if necessary.

The first general lubrication of suspension, steering, shift linkage, cables, pivots, drive shaft, and u-joint is not specified per manual until the 50 hour service. My dealer will do all above at 25 hours.

Should be around $90.00

$250 or higher is just plain usury, I don't care where you are.

That sounds low. I pay 38 bucks just for my oil and filter, the plugs $11 if it needs replaced and the grease takes a minute, but you gotta figure a shop rate in there too. Shops have overhead, lights, rent/mortgage, salary, that sort of thing. If I did $90 full service I'd go out of business. I could see $150 or so, but yeah over that is a little excessive.
That's what they charged me for my 25hr service. Most of the services I have had since ran higher, but generally there is an air filter or something else there. The shop rate is $70.00 an hour. Still think if it is only oil, grease and filter it should not be over a C note..
That's real reasonable. I do all my own services, but the shop rate here is $90 an hour plus fluids, filters etc.
