ok anyone having any luck getting an extended warrenty on the 570 because of this if not lets seek a class action for it. i work for a polaris dealer ship and i am actualy currently doing the recall on mine right now. going good but would like to see something ouit of it. this is the second time in the shop sitting since i purchased first of the yr. first 3 wks i owned it it sat un rideable because of back ordered spark plugs and it fouled them out. now another 3 wks for recall. not very happy with polaris.

All the issues with the 570 have been a fairly big hassle, but I have to say that Polaris seems to have made good on their mistakes. Everyone affected got a rebuilt or new engine. As for the warranty, yes 6 months sucks, and yes they will void your warranty for setting a soda in the cup holder, but we all knew this when we bought our rzrs. To me, filing a lawsuit is just taking advantage of the situation. I guess we could make polaris pay millions in legal fees/settlements, get a few people fired, and make their families suffer so we could each get $20. At least we could make some lawyers rich. That sure doesn't seem like the right thing to do.

Yes, it would be a nice gesture for Polaris to give those affected an extended warranty. In my opinion it would be a good pr move and build a more solid consumer base. Polaris however is in no way obligated to give you a thing past covering any warranty work. None of us are entitled to anything like an extended warranty. If you don't like it, fine, don't buy Polaris anymore. Problem solved. I for one love my 570.

Op, you're a dick, and maybe you should learn how to spell. Sure we had problems with the 570's, but they got fixed. Move on and stop acting like a dickhead and enjoy your machine when you get it back. I think mine was in longer than anyone else's, 7 weeks total. My wife wrote the Polaris president and they've contacted me to make it right. Why don't you try that first.

Shiz i totaly say i have to agree with you i was trying to make sure that i didnt misse out on anything like that. it was something i read about a month ago. i ve always have had polaris machines this is the third new one i ve purchased in the last five yrs. i will continue to buy polaris. at least there making good on the recall.

Everyone's first thing is let's sue. There's alternatives first. If you were wronged then try other routes first, not sue. So maybe I'm an asshole, but it takes one to know one.

I think polaris should at least extend the warranty for the time it sits waiting to be fixed. That would be almost fair.

Polaris gave me another six months extra. I have a full one year warranty now.

Well thats good thats the first i have heard about polaris extending the warranty.

So what you are saying is that you totally agree with me about filing a class action lawsuit being a terrible immoral thing to do in this particular situation, but if somebody else is already going to sue you are willing to flush your opinion and morals down the toilet to get your piece of the pie? In my book that makes you worse than the guy who started the lawsuit.

You're absolutely right I'm a smart ass. I did have my wife write the letter, and so most of the talking when they called. I have 580 some odd posts, BECAUSE MY RZR SAT IN THE GARAGE FOR 2 MONTHS. I happen to be lucky enough to have retired when I was 39 and have to much time on my hands. But trying to start a class action suit as your first action towards a big company is just the reason we pay what we do for these products we enjoy so much. And if you really go through all my posts they're really asking or answering questions mostly. I've owned many things over the years that have been involved in class action suits, never jumped on board with any of them. The attorneys get one third and the many get penny's. IMO that's just scumbagish. I bet we would pay about 25% less for our toys if there was no chance of a lawsuit. Take Yamaha's rhino for instance, I've actually been in one when it rolled, the driver was being stupid and I ended up with a hyper extended shoulder. They made a machine that was more of a workhorse and started billing it as a sport machine. But if you read all of the warnings it tells you it will roll. Stupid people do stupid shit and get hurt. Then with no place to turn they sue. Someone gets a hot cup of coffee and spills it on their labia and sues mcdonalds. Now they charge more for a cup of coffee and you pay the difference. Stupid

Where I live, and I'm sure it's the same in many other places, a day in the shop for warranty/ recall work does not count as one of your warranty days.

Normally I would agree. Mine was in the shop 2 months.
