I just got a letter yeaterday from Polaris telling me about the service bulletin. Luckily the RZR forum made up for the lack of customer service at Polaris.

I Got a call on Saturday from the Dealer, RZR570 is completely repaired tested and ready to go. I will pick it up tomorrow(Tuesday) and see what all was done. I due know they replaced the crankshaft. I must say the dealer really did treat me well. They only had it for a little over 1 week so to tear it down, order parts and put it back togheter in 1 week was truly great service.

I got my notice in the mail today! Recall was completed last Wednesday!!

My dealer had mine for week now, I hope its ready for the weekend.

Same here. Just got the actual notice in the mail today. Called Polaris' customer service today and they were practically useless. They asked me for the part number that needed to be ordered. How would I know? They are the ones fixing the issue. I find it interesting that their customer service can't even access basic information about your vehicle, even if you have the VIN#.

I ended up actually offering (grudgingly) to the dealer on Saturday to pay half of the extra cost to get the parts faster (3-day service). Theoretically could get things back together by this Saturday, assuming the parts come in by Wed or early Thurs.

Shannon068 indicates the parts are on backorder so that does not make me happy. It irritates me knowing that others can get their's fixed so quickly and I'm still waiting for the basic parts. I guess that comes with the territory of living in a small market.

My dealer over-nighted the part for mine, all on their own. No charge to me. They also picked it up and delivered back to my garage when finished. I think I got lucky compared to some of you!

For real. I wish I could get that kind of service...

The dealer picked mine up on March 9 and it needed the new connecting rod/crank assembly. The work was finished on March 23 and they delivered it to my door today with a full tank of gas.
I took it for a quick 2 mile ride. Everything seems fine , runs strong, I didn't get on it too hard it only has 12 miles on the odometer. Hopefully I can put this behind and start to enjoy it.

i just bought mine with a build date of 1-11-12 how can i tell if the recall has been done?

In my case the dealership gave me a signed document indicating all recalls and bulletins had been completed. If you got that you'd probably have a good leg to stand on if it failed. In my case mine was built after the bulletin so it didn't need the repair. Asside from that I know of no way to tell from looking at it. I think most dealerships are pretty honest about that stuff.

Go to the Polaris website, enter your vin number it will tell you if there is or was a recall on your veh. It will also tell you if it has been completed.
