Usa Walker Evans Shocks

Attention all 570 owners; if you plan on purchasing a set of WER rear shocks make certain they are model specific. There are quite a few distributors, especially on ebay, that show the 800 and the 570 interchange on the rear shock. Although the front will the rear is not designed for the 570.

Polaris just recently tested this new shock and gave WER the

Hope info helps

Finally got the Jist on the rear 570 WER shocks... Thanks in part by BlackRhino Performance

The shocks tested were of the same shock body as the 800 standard. The problem was the piggy back was hitting the mufffler, so WER omitted the piggyback and replaced it with the hose and reservoir with the same shock body. The question is where to mount the resevoir...
I believe the inside of the bed, possibly on the bed wall, should keep the elements at bay.

All suggestions are welcome

Thanks for the props for sure but you are the man, thanks for the call back and giving me the details! I only wish i could of helped you more. Keep in mind when ordering you would have the option of choosing the hose length so chose your reservoir location wisely

Re: Walker Evans Shocks

I know this is an old thread but I just got a set of WER shocks and was wondering where was the best place to mount the remote reservoir? Especially the right rear. Thanks!

Re: Walker Evans Shocks

Well I have them installed and I'm really happy with how they improve the ride. AuMiner tlod me where he mounted his rear reservoirs (the correct way). But being the impatient person that I am I already had them mounted and was out riding.

There is a hard rubber spacer between the reservoir and the frame along with the strip under the band securing them. I like the location because its away from anything thrown up by the rear tires.

Re: Walker Evans Shocks

Be careful not to back into anything that might damage the hose; thick sagebrush comes to mind... Almost holed my radiator making an unplanned U-turn!

On second thought those look like the steel braid-covered lines; those are real hard to hurt!

Action, nice work on the scuff guards too!

SOLD!!! 2012 RZR 570, with most of the accessories.

Bought!!! 2015 RZR S 900 Titanium! Let the fun begin (again)!!
Polaris half windshield and rear mesh screen. Outerwears on air filter and clutch intake. 3500# Winch. Scrap tubing DIY parking brake ($0.00). Drift Innovation action camera. Roof. Side mirrors. DIY mud flaps. Tusk front bumper. UHMW A-arm guards. Next up: Skid plate(maybe). Bumper/Back bones. Better harnesses. (Not necessarily in that order) Whatever else strikes my fancy (& I can afford)(& the wife will let me buy)...
