I read somewhere that it came in 3/10 of a second behind the 800. I dont know how far they raced or how official it was. it's supposed to be pretty quick from the reviews I've seen. just google it.

That wouldnt surprise me because its necked down ProStar 900. I can't wait for a ProStar S someday (hey I can dream can't I?)... an 800 CC ProStar would be fine. Its def the power that makes the 900 IMO. I thought that 570 might be underestimated by a lot of people.

I just did a quick calc and if 900 has 88 HP then a 570 should be 55.7 HP if they go linearly. Now if they detune down more who knows yet but thats the HP of the "old" 800 engine (52 HP if you didnt know). I want a ProStar 800! (now I really dreaming). An 800 ProStar would be 62.7 HP theoretically.

there is a video on youtube i believe with the 570 and a kawasaki tyrex 750 racing. It beats the 750 up to 35mph by 1.4 seconds so id say for low end its got good potential. here ya go

I saw one two weeks ago locally. There was a day event in Chillicothe, Il. Only our dealer's sales guy got to operate it. It has the rear bed access like the XP. As far as power he didn't complain much. Comparable to a base RZR.

I notice the HP shown at 45HP right? How much HP did our old machines have prior to XP and we had a ball. Our riding group would welcome it.

There will be a complete review of the 570 in the Dec issue of UTV Off-Road Magazine.

Thanks, thats a good lead. Guess that will come out around first of November. I do mostly trail riding so giving up a few horsepower is fine. Giving up a lot of horsepower wouldn't....

why would anyone want an 800 prostar?, the Xp900 is only 850cc. I would say the std 50" 800 will be discontinued.

Our rev limiter hit 58 and Joeys hit 60 but I believe 58 is the right number.
