Anyone tried 2013-16 Ranger XP shocks on the rear of a 2012 RZR 570?
I have a 2012 RZR 570.
it has a 2 inch highlifter lift & I run 27 inch tires along with 1 3/4 inch wheel spacers on the front & 2 inch wheel spacers on the rear.
The stock rear shocks and springs are shot.
The rear swaybar has broken twice and one other time it also ripped the mount off the right rear of the frame, which I welded back on and is holding up ok for 2 years now.
The rear swaybar has broken again.
Front swaybar also broke again.
The rocks of WV beat this thing to death. I understand that. I also carry quite a bit of equipment on this thing in a box on the back because I go pretty far away on isolated trails and ride alone at times , too ,so I need to carry lots of extra stuff with me.
I'm probably going to sell it soon & get a better machine so spending $1000 for aftermarket shocks is out. So are aftermarket a-arms and other high cost options.
Running without swaybars sucks on the severe off camber and hills I run and the body roll along with sagging suspension running without swaybars is unacceptable to me and they also need replaced so I can sell it.
I'm replacing the broken front and rear swaybars now.
I have already recently this past fall replaced all 4 rear a-arms with like new used rear original oem Polaris a arms.
Untill I sell this thing I'm thinking about swapping some different oem shocks/springs onto the rear .
All my shock bushings are also wasted & need replaced.
.
I have the opportunity to buy some almost new oem 2016 Ranger XP 900 rear shocks ( Polaris part# 7043753) with springs on them and good bushings in them at a good price online.
Has anyone tried using these on the rear with factory 570 rear a arms?
If they physically fit I'm good with that. I carry a load in the rear as it is so the stiffer springs on those shocks will help me.
Thanks in advance for replies
