PPXX LE shocks vs quad shock retrofit

So I am planning to purchase a Pitster Pro for my kids, trying to determine whether to spend the extra for the LE which has upgraded shocks and larger tires, or go with the base model and install some sport quad shocks.

Anyone compared the LE shocks to that of a sport quad? How do they compare?

I have a yamaha warrior that I am planning to sell soon that has banshee front shocks that made a significant difference on the quad, was thinking about reinstalling the stockers on the quad and keeping the banshee shocks for the pitster if I get the base model.

I have the same question. was going to call pitster soon and see how much better the LE shocks are vs. the base model.

if the LE shocks are significantly better (even if not as good as shock from a quad) I will still go with the LE. It's about $500 difference for rims, tires, speed-o, and "better" shocks. the rims and tires on the LE seem like a good middle ground between the tiny base model and the huge 14" rims that come on the big wheel kit for $800.

if anyone has first hand experience with the LE, please share! thanks.

I cant speak for the LE shocks.......but the stock shocks are junk, just like the rzr's.
ANYTHING, would probably be a good improvement.....

Re: PPXX LE shocks vs quad shock retrofit

The shocks on the PP LE is specific built for it. Front are oil reserve and rear are oil charged. Both are fully adjustable, compression and rebound.

Thanks Racing dreamz. I am not sure what oil "charged" is. Suppose that is vs nitrogen charged? Regardless, doesn't tell us how much better they are vs stock

Adjustable does sound like a nice advantage though. Can tweak it for times an adult rides with them vs just a light kid.
