Great looking cage Looks like a great start. I'll be building mine as well so I like to see different designs.

Re: My New Race Cage
What kind of bender do you have? A mechanical or hydraulic bender?

Cage looks great man. I was gonna build mine, but I think it's a little over my head trying to do it, so I'm just gonna buy one. Again great work!

Re: My New Race Cage
tube shark (hydraulic). I used to have a manual one but just not enough time and energy anymore.
wish I would have bought there tubing notcher too. I have had a JLD II on back order for 5 weeks so I ended up cutting ever pipe with a a cut off wheel and plasma cutter, i'll bet i spent 15 extra hr's notching pipes by hand.

It looks like a nice bender. How much was it and how much was shipping? Thanks!

Re: My New Race Cage
It's a tube shark, same one that's on extreme 4x4 with out the notcher. Cost was 3200. shipped plus about 425.00 per die set but buy 3 sets of dies and get one free.By far the best tubing bender I have ever used except for a really high end commercial one. Real easy to use, and they stand behind there product. I bought it from a 4x4 place in wa (just ok to deal with) They were alot cheaper then buying it through tube shark.
Hope that helps.
With notcher 5400 shipped.

Thx
If the rest of my parts show up this week, I think I can have it done and ready for powder coating by Monday.
