Re: best roll cage ?
Keep in mind what it's bolted to. I've had my plastic off, and I believe that what's under there will fail before most aftermarket bolt on cages.
With that being said, I still plan on buying a bolt on cage. The stock one is not engineered to be a roll cage. It will collapse into the passenger compartment in the event of anything besides sideways flop. I believe a well built aftermarket bolt on cage would be much safer than factory in the event of a bad wreck.

Well strongest is a relative term it can be the strongest in the world but if it doesn't bolt up cprrectly all of that strength is no good. Here are a couple of options.

Re: best roll cage ?
What is the cage made with, how is it welded and how is it bent, is there a jig our questions to ask before you buy.
HotRide4u is one of the many great cages that are out there.

Re: best roll cage ?
After seeing Pgreg's cage in person, it is made very well IMO. It appears to be one of the better looking cages that I have seen on RZR's

Re: best roll cage ?
If you make the cage yourself you can save. Legitimate businesses have to add in the cost of insurance, overhead, labor etc. Did your mfg use a jig, is it powder coated, how was it tested, what software are they using to run stress analyst, how long is the warrantee, did a part time person make it or was it a professional mfg engineer, what materials are being used etc... Just because it is the most expensive doesn't make it well made. Compare before you buy.
I know every time you ride there is a risk and I want the safest ride possible. You should check out your cage mfg like you would check out your doctor.

Re: best roll cage ?
Say what you like, a gull wing set up for a door is a great idea. Hopefully there is never situation in which the obstruction of a caved in door would hinder getting out. I'm saving money for an awesome set up. Todd
