Cutting weight?
I was wondering if anyone had any practical ideas on how to cut some weight on the rzr. I would like to keep the look the same but was wondering what you guys think about dropping some weight to maximize power.

Re: Cutting weight?
drill speed holes in everything. hell remove your starter (after its running of course) just run enough gas to get you where you want to go then walk home. how about Jenny Craig? put down the doughnuts!!!
oh shit, dougnuts, i gotta go i just got hungry.
better yet f a diet just buy a turbo.
ok ok just funnin. how about replacing the steel wheels with aluminum and some light 4 speed tires. not sure what do do after that. i buikt my short course car with saving weight in mind and came in at 1273 pounds without my fat arse.

Re: Cutting weight?
Lol. The only reason I ask this is because it seems everyone is dumping loads of cash into their engines and getting minimal results. I guess what got me going in this direction was a recent race I had against another rzr and I noticed he had bumpers and a top. I beat him by at least one length. Just seems like theres got to be a way to shave some pounds off of a stock ride.

Re: Cutting weight?
Some of the dune runners have taken out the front wheel drive mechanism, since they don't really need 4X4

Re: Cutting weight?
Whenever I race someone I just tell my fat friends to get out. lol j/k No start with rims and tires I would just go through it and everything I didn't have to have on or that serves a specific purpose I would scrap.
