Exclamation USFS Admits Putting Surveillance Cameras on Public Lands

Last month, Herman Jacob took his daughter and her friend camping in the Francis Marion National Forest. While poking around for some firewood, Jacob noticed a wire. He pulled on it and followed it to a video camera and antenna.

Hopfully they have some good pics of me taking a dump in the woods! I dug a cat hole and burned the paper then buried it,Far away from any streams or drainage of coarse.lol

Crap...just what I need....now it will take forever to get my wife and daughters out of the trailer and on the trail!

They'll be too busy with hair and make-up if they know there will be cameras!

I did not read the article (yet), but was under the impression that cameras on public property administered by the socialist government we now have are required to be "announced". Wonder if anywhere on these trails there's signs to that effect.

If I found a $500 video surveillance camera in the woods I wouldn't go looking for the owner. I'm sure I could find a better use for it than spying on campers.
