my race / dune RZR build

just got it this afternoon and started to strip it down. i am building this to run short course motorcross tracks and dunes. i an not doing any motor or clutch mods as of today but that might change.

parts list to start

Jazz fuelcell
Renegade seats
Crow 3" harnesses
12" OMF billet center wheels
26" Holeshot ATR tires

i am using a 12 gallon cell with foam inside. its big but i want to make the cage to fit it if i decide to desert race in the future. i a going to only run the fuel i need for racing. i am going to mount it on top of the rear suspension mounts.

Would love to see pics of the fuel tank mounted. I was hoping to put one where the stock tank was at to keep the weight low...

todays progress. i cut out the side rails and the front firewall supports. going to add 6" to each side over stock width.

Looks great Mike, I had thought about lengthening for more leg room and a little longer wheel base. After seening yours all apart, it does'nt appear that there would be to much to modify.

yeah leg room is a preimum in the rzr. with my long travel i will be able to use the stock fenderwells for more foot room. also i will be able to move the pedals outboard.
