Re: Another UTVCRAP.com Build

are you trying to put the stock pump in the tank? is there a problem with running an external pump? i was planning on using a generic sending unit then adding a gauge on the dash.

After dealing with EFI on sandcars, I would not know why you could not use an external pump and sending unit. The amp draw of the aftermarket pumps may be an issue for the stock system wiring, but that would be no big deal. Right Mega?

I see you're going to test your finger dexterity. I installed my rear skid plate after the Holz braces as well.

Re: Another UTVCRAP.com Build

As long as the pump is rated for at least 39 pounds and 25 litres per hour area it should work just fine. You have a pressure regulator which is going to make sure the correct pressure is mantained in the fuel system (roughly 39 pounds) and the return will dump the unused fuel back into the tank.
