My Never Ending Project
I bought my RZR in August and have been adding to it ever since. Here are a few of the little things I have done to mine.
(Extra fuse box / 12 volt plug for the Ipod) The fuse box is right off the battery so therefore always hot. So far I have KC lights, an amp/the addition 12volt plug, and a siren hooked up to it.

I mounted these two toggles to the dash, the one on the left controls my KC’s and the one on the right turns on the amp and Ipod.

Eventually I want to put a bumper and have the KC’s mounted to it, until that time I bought two Simpson Ties from the Home Depot for $1.30 a piece and mounted the KC’s right to the front. I was a little worried about over heating at first but after 3 months of running it in the Arizona desert no problems yet.

I mounted this 300watt amp under the dash on the passenger side and ran the speaker wire between the floor and the skid plat and up to the 2 Sony Explodes. I hook my Ipod up to it, flip the toggle and I have tunes.

The siren was just for the hell of it. Pulling up to someone and hitting the chicken or dog sound is just to fun to resist. Also works great for getting rid of underage drinkers at a desert/forest parties when you come flying in with the siren blazing.

Re: My Never Ending Project
Very cool.I wonder if there is a simple way to hook up sirius radio?Like with no stereo just some powered speakers that you could plug the sirius into?

Re: My Never Ending Project
If you have the sirius stiletto Portable i wouldn't see why not; It should hook right up like the Ipod. I would have to look at my sportster to see if it could be rigged.

Re: My Never Ending Project
I like the siren.
I think LSR makes a billet grille that cuts part of the hood (where the POLARIS decal is) for added ventilation.
I don't ride at night. Night = campfire = beer = best for me not to drive anymore.

Re: My Never Ending Project
Very Nice. I'm thinking about hooking up a GPS and race Intercom system in my rzr.
I'm trying to find out if I should do it myself or pay $80 hour for someone else with experience.
If you have any suggestions send them my way!
thanks for sharing.

Re: My Never Ending Project
This was the first thing I have ever worked on to this extent. I was hesitant on a few things to do myself but I looked up how to do them on the internet and got started. Before I knew it, it was coming together and it was easier than I first thought.

Re: My Never Ending Project
Thanks. I'm doing my research now. I think the good thing with doing it yourself is that you know where things are and what to do if something goes wrong.

Take a look at "Bluetooth" device for intercom, allows up to 75 feet for you and passenger or another vehicle to communicate. I use J&M but others out there.
Wireless Products - J&M Motorcycle Audio
or
cardo wireless
