Hard Top Install Problem
So I pull the new Polaris Hard Top out of the package and try to install it before heading out for the 1st ride. How tuff can it be? A simple plastic top w/four clamps. Came w/four rubber covered clamps which wrap around the roll cage tubes and then tabs are supposed to stick thru slots in the top and secure w/screws. Well the slots line up parallel to the roll cage tubes but are too far from the tubes for the tabs to stick thru. What the heck? I can drill new slots in the right spots but has anyone else run into this?

Re: Hard Top Install Problem
It all lines up, shift the top around a little bit and make sure you have the clamps facing the correct direction.

Re: Hard Top Install Problem
Yeah you need 3 hands to do this easily. It's hard to explain on here but do just as RZRrider says. Get the clamp positioned close to where you want it and take your thumb and roll the top of the clamp towards the bolt. This is where your third hand comes in handy because you have to hold it there and start the nut. Once you get one done it will make perfect sense and the rest will be easier. Leave all of them loose to position the roof where you want it. Keep in mind since the clamps are rubber lined it won't move much so get it close from the start.
