New Lift, Tires, and Clutch

I decided to go with Catvos and their 6" lift kit. The axles were replaced with gorillas. The clutch is a Dirty Dawg. No pictures of the clutch. The tires are 29.5 Outlaws. I plan on adding Hunterworks shock spring spacers. Should add another inch.

Nice job! I need to wait till August for my lift. I think Catvos looks the best,of what is out there. Post if you have any trouble.

Nice man! I love that lift, but it needs some 32" backs under it...lol. I can't believe your 29's look small. Pretty sweet setup!

Re: New Lift, Tires, and Clutch

The thing with the silverbacks is they weigh so dang much. When you look at performance weight is a big draw back. The 29.5 is the best tire for the size/weight.

I also just got through adding 1" spring spacers. The top of the cage is right about 6'8".

Re: New Lift, Tires, and Clutch

What would I go with a 31"? The bad thing about that is the weight of a 29.5 compared to the 31". I can't remember the difference, but it is alot. That is why you mostly see 29.5 at the mud bogs.

Re: New Lift, Tires, and Clutch

How does it handle?

Well, it does feel more top heavy, but with the wider stance it kinda cancels out the tipping over feel. The 29.5 x 10.5 tires "walk" alittle in the sand. Over all it handles good.

Now tell them how I phoned my father so he could go cut the lock off my garage door so my fiance could get in there, and bring you a axle.
