Re: Diesel RZR

That would be cool. Easy to fill it up off my truck too.

2010 RZR-S (x2), RZR170 pulled by my trusty '02 Cummins 2500 which is almost broke in

Re: Diesel RZR

Kabota makes one....Kubota RTV900 Series

Might have some crawling power but 25 mph would get real slow real fast. I'm sure in a RZR a diesel would get real slow too.

To each their own though!

Re: Diesel RZR

the technology is out there to have a screaming little turbo diesel, but nobody is going to pay to design one. Oh, and GSXR swaps are sooo 90's... I'm putting a jet engine on mine

Re: Diesel RZR

Since the military now runs all on one fuel, anything they make for them would already use diesel (JP8 I believe)

They had that story a few years ago about Kawasaki supplying KLR650's to the military that got 100 MPG.

Re: Diesel RZR

I thought about it when I saw an 2005 Arctic cat 4-wheeler for sale 3 weeks ago that came stock with a diesel and that sure got my gray matter working, then quickly disregarded the thought due to weight, limited RPM and availability of parts.

Re: Diesel RZR

Actually Polaris does make a UTV that runs on a "Liberty Engine", I believe. I was reported to be able to burn anything. I think it was based on the ranger frame. There was a rightup somewhere awhile ago,

Re: Diesel RZR

the added weight probly wouldnt be ideal for jumping or flying around in the dunes, but with newer diesel technology, u can make some pretty amazing power and good mpg
