A Different Type of Snorkel Question....
I've read all the post in here in regards to installing snorkels, filters, etc, etc. I really would like to get some opinions for my situation.
I don't plan on water crossing deep enough to actually require a snorkel kit. We mostly ride trails. Dusty only when dry. I did just buy an Opti-Air 600 filter to make sure I keep my TB clean. I've read where separating the air intake and CVT intake might help. Does it really make a big difference? And finally, I really love enjoy working on my RZR and installing accessories. I know it would be fun to use the DIY posting for installing the snorkels. "Would any of you install snorkels just based on the possible 'extra' air by not fighting with the CVT intake and the fact that I just like to fab stuff for my RZR or would it just be useless to do so?" ![]() Sorry, but I over analyze everything.......Thanks in advanced. |

Re: A Different Type of Snorkel Question....
I did mine with a pre-filter in the bed.
One of the reasons I did it was so the intake did not fight for air with the CVT. Now I have clean air going into the airbox also.
