Re: Sticker removal
I used a heat gun, a paint scraper , and some Goof-off. Took a while, tho.

I would suggest buying a decale eraser. It is like a giant pencil eraser which you put in a die grinder or even a drill. Apply gentle pressure to the decale as you run the drill wide open. It works like a giant pencil eraser without touching the surface of the paint. You can buy them at most autobody suppliers. Heat guns with a scrapper also work, but you risk scratching the paint and sometimes the stickey stuff stays on your surface creating another job. These erasers remove EVERYTHING clean and quickly. Let me know what you think.

No it heats up from friction just like a pencil eraser would. As it removes the sticker it will fall apart.

Re: Sticker removal
I bought this for a dollar because somebody thought it was ruined. A little heat from the heat gun and it's like new.
Does wonders on removing the decals as well.

Be a man and sneek the wifes blow dryer ive been doing this for 23 years and it works great. I have never skatch any thing. hell the dryer is just setting there grab it and start out slow until you get the hang of it and you will be done in no time. and its free. if you fail to get sticker's off witch i know you wont than go pay for something.

Re: Sticker removal
A hair drier will work but a heat gun is definately faster and won't burn out like a hair drier, especially on a huge project like a trailer...and of course a hair drier won't renew the plastic.
Although it's another thing to have to buy...
