Re: Sticker removal

Thanks for the pressure washer idea. It worked much better than hair dryer. I followed up with goo remover. Sure looks much better now!

Re: Sticker removal

I used a heat gun and then WD-40 to take the sticky residue off. It worked like a charm.

Re: Sticker removal

Also I find it safe to use the pressure washer to clean the interior and exterior of my RZR. I find it amazing that stickers can be affixed with glue that is so strong, requiring so much effort to be removed, yet important other parts can fail. I wonder if these stickers (when new from the manufacturer) can repair a flat tire. Perhaps they can make them double sided and use them to keep tiles from falling off the space shuttle.

Re: Sticker removal

I've used the eraser thingys when I was doing truck decals. They're deffinitley a great tool and you won't destroy plastic.

Re: Sticker removal

When you get the stickers off using a heat gun and there is still some adhesive in the plastic. Use some cetranella oil. Soak up a rag and wipe of adhesive. It works great to remove adhesive. Yep cetranella oil the stuff you put into tiki torch's...
