plastic plug removal

Im trying to install my winch and maybe this is a stupid question. But how do you remove the plastic plugs that have all the fenders and exterior pinned together? I'm trying to get the front plastic guards out of the way so I have more room to work. Are the plugs a one time use kind of thing and you have to cut them and replace them later? Do you just pry them because it doesn't seem like they want to come apart.

Use the pliers that came in your tool kit....If you notice, there are two small notches toward the end of the jaws...These are made to pull the pins....

Re: plastic plug removal

Well I was able to get the winch mounted, I only mangled two of the plugs pulling them out.
