This is his add:
I have a pair of fronts that are extras. They are used, but in excellent condition. No holes. They were removed to install some wider ones. $150 shipped to the lower 48. If you are outside that send me a message and we may be able to work something out.

I have added pictures of what one of the tires really looks like. I new they where used going into this deal. But I dont think his add was even close!! He said he did not see this damage, Come on!! And then his way to resolve it is to tell me to file with Paypal. I asked him to just give me $50 back he said those tires hold air.. I filled with Paypal as Mike said to do. But I did not file for the full amount, I think $50.00 is more than fair. So Mike if you read this I have done my part to try and resolve this in a fair manner!!!!

Trailblazer, Excellent shape and NO HOLES MEANS EXACTLY THAT!!! So now when I buy something I have to think, well he lives in Ohio and they have mud there and on my first ride my RZR got muddy, so will those tires have mud on them??? So if he wanted $300 then I would have got screwed??? WOW? Bighorn 2.0's are $100 each and this includes shipping. Just so the the air is clear if he ever responds to this. We did a partial trade, I sent him a like new (would have passed for new) factory Polaris Bikini top and $103.00.. I have seen those tops from $68 up to $119..

I agree with cheshier2 your geographic location has nothing to do with telling the truth.......he said "excellent condition no holes"
Heres the Quota from the guys add......

Posting accuracte information, pictures and providing that same product to the purchaser is key to this whole thing.
If a mistake was made, then it's how it's corrected that matters.
Failing on both points just doesn't cut it...

The product wasn't represented correctly
-AND-
You had to file a claim.

The guy not only deserves the negative feedback it's imperative that you give correct feedback.

He should have represented the tires correctly and he should have sent you a credit without you asking.

However, in the end it's your transaction and we can only give you our opinions.

lol, are you kidding me, man you are pissed off about this deal. i guess im not entitled to my opinion.
i think, they looked ok for the money.looks like they got some cuts in them but what tire doesnt in a used situation?
i agree with you, he said no holes, does that crack leak air? if it does then its a hole, if it doesnt its a cut. simply as that.
your right, he should have said no holes but a few superficial cuts and cracks.
he lied , lets go find him pull him out of his house and beat him while repeatedly chanting the importance of a complete disclosure statement when selling used off road tires that may or may not have encountered a rock and thus rolled over it at a high rate of speed resulting in a hole.....
of couse the previous statement was intended as parody and in no way do i agree with or promote the flogging of an individual for selling a tire with a hole in it.
i asked for no haters, i didnt say you were at fault for "getting screwed", i didnt say he was at fault for misleading you. i did not attack you. i stated my opinion, and when it didnt align with yours you target me.
bottom line, let the buyer beware, it sucks man, learn from it.
dude could have been more descriptive, and you could have been more cautious.
"i got screwed" is a powerful statement. i dont believe you got screwed. getting screwed is paying for the bighorns pictured and dude sending you the tires off his lawn tractor, that's getting screwed. you on the otherhand in my opinion didnt get what you thought you were getting.and the fault in that lies with both parties involved.
i personally dont buy anything off of ebay from parties with low transaction #'s and less than 100% feedback, therefore i, myself, would also question jumping into a deal with a dude on the forum with only 14 posts...

in your defense the fact that the dude isnt responding to this thread tells me he prob. knows what he did, and it wasnt a mistake.
i am sincere in saying to learn from it, it isnt the time anymore that one man can always take another mans word as bond. and that is frustrating. but in the end the burden lies on each one of us personally.
sucks, man. if the tires arent leaking air, i would b interested in purchasing them from you if they are unacceptable by your standards, think they would work fine on this old hillbilly's rzr.
and im honest when i say that last was sincere and not to be taken as a smart ass comment.

This is what I received from PayPal this morning. Negative Feedback will be left on him!!!! I would hope that he is not able to post anything here for a long while!!!!I will just keep the tires and will not sell them to anyone else. I have a plug kit for the tires with no holes...LOL

Your seller has chosen to escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim. By
ending communication with you and escalating to a claim, the seller is
asking PayPal to investigate the case and decide the outcome. As part of
our investigation, PayPal reviewed any communication you may have had in
the Resolution Center.

Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User
Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It
does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods
received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a
refund.

You think Polaris warranty is crap--pay attention to the wording of that Paypal 'guarantee'. Worthless. Paypal will only go to bat for you if an item is damaged in shipment? That's UPS or the post offices problem. Paypal is supposed to protect the buyer from fraud--not shipping disputes!

Sorry to see this Cheshier but you got screwed twice...just in time for Christmas. Sucks!

That sucks!!

There not for sale guys!! The one tire is not worth it. When I drive 8 hours to go on a ride the last thing I want to have to deal with is a flat tire that I new had a big slice in it and 2 other holes. They are my problem no need to pass them on.
MERRY X-MASS!!!

I personally know cracker , and he is a stand up guy... what cheshier2 has failed to mention is that he traded for a cover and some cash for these tires, and he didnt give cracker any of the mounting hardware for said top, also if the tires were so bad why wouldnt he send them back , but no he wanted a partial refund , and to top it all off he tried to EXTORT money out of cracker or he was gonna slander him.... I saw the txt msgs myself. Those tires were in great shape when they left, they HELD air and worked great...Ches , let me enlighten you a little, you have broken several laws and you really should watch yourself , see anytime you ask for money "or" you will slander someone, that is called extorting someone... you really should also make sure not to send you illegal actions through txt msg where it can be used against you in court! lastly "zipties" are not mounting hardware, and if you use zipties to mount a soft top , and you think that is OK, then those tires are 10 times nicer than you deserve. The way I see it , you got good tires at a good price, mike has to get hardware or make mounting hardware to use that top you sent him..... besides if you want perfect tires, spend the money to get new.... you bought used tires, what did you not expect them to be used. HEY CHES I WILL BE CONTACTING FORUM OWNER AND SEE WHAT HE THINKS ABOUT YOUR SLANDER !
