The xt does look pretty cool.

I gotta think it has to smoke an XP..easy to one up the competition when you can put you hands on it and compare them side by side during Pre release testing..And Can-Am knows the importance of making it decisive, especially after the failed AC attempt
But with that said its also easy to race and video time after time to get the footage you want..and they could have done better IMO..just watching on y phone I noticed the XP got the jump out if the hole on the hill climb..also shot from inside the Maverick cab shows the XP slightly ahead. Real objective comparo or bad editing? Lol.

The Boss said I could order one without convincing her which is rare lol..but for some reasob and I haven't called my dealer yet. I thougt i was excited but maybe I'm not excited enough lol. Looks like same old between the seat engine placement. Probably kill it for me..but I'll reserve judgement until I see one in person some time next year Im guessing.

After owning a commander. It would take a few test drives to convince me to buy another can am.

As some of you know, I'm no fan of 4-place SXS's, but that Can-AM Maverick 1000XRS hooked me at first glance! I make it a point to NEVER purchase first-year releases of ANY new-model vehicle (been burnt too many times), but a year from now (after the teething process has shaken-out the major/critical bugs) I'll have to take a serious look at one. By then, I'm sure, Polaris will have risen to this new challenge and come out with something that'll raise the bar even further. We'll see..........

Looks good but I think Can Am came out with a 80% solution. They needed to get it to 16-18 inches of travel if they were going to get me away from the XP. 101 HP from 85 is nice but I would take suspension over power at this point. My XP climbs china wall in Glamis so it has enough power. More is always nice but suspension is what I was looking for. Maybe the new RZR will get it done.

China wall? I tried with my stock xp with smoothies n paddles but couldnt
Make it all the way up.
