Re: What's this?

That's awesome in my opinion. Probably a $40,000.00 rig though. I wish Polaris or any of the side by side makers would set up their dash with a stereo like that. And turn signals for that matter. Just seems like they're so close to a mini car/truck they may as well. What kind of tires were those?

Just saw these a few months ago and I think they are pretty sick!! Street legal is an awesome feature and they aren't anywhere near 40000. They are between 13 and 15 k from what I heard and that's the turbo unit on the high end. I'm sure they don't have anything on the xp as far as racing and pure rugged durability, but would be awesome to ride the streets to get to where I wanna go ride.

Re: What's this?

The MSRP on an Oreion Sand Reeper is still $13,995 which doesn't include taxes and vehicle registration for roads with posted speed limites of around 30 MPH in most states: Oreion Sand Reeper 4X4 By Oreion Motors | Street Legal Low Speed Vehicle | Accel Auto Sports | Carlyle, Illinois

Re: What's this?

I was in the Canary Islands a few months back, they had these to rent (think they had a different badge though??? ...but EXACT same vehicle + specs) anyway I took the RZR...don't know what the hell I was thinking, was a chance to ride something different! The RZR was fully street legal too...

Re: What's this?

Oreion Sand Reeper 4x4 has a top speed of about 65 MPH. In order for them to be street legal the governor has to be set for 25 in Illinois...

Re: What's this?

Hard for me to get excited about yet another Chinese buggy with a car engine. Looks to me like a re-skinned Joyner Trooper with the same little automotive Chery engine. At least the Trooper had 1100cc vs. this one at 800cc
Street legal isn't that big of an obstacle--make one street legal AND 50" trail-ready & I'll look at it.

Usa Re: What's this?

Interesting, LOTS of features for the money, but how durable are they?? And yes, where are they made? At first I thought it said Chevy engine..
I'd hate to get one and Pop that Chery
