i remember people neggin out on the xp,, i heard no way they will use trailing arm suspension..no way they will use a bigger motor, no way no way no way.....well the artic cat styling is beautiful, its real and its on its way!!!!. and i hope it flies! popo needs more competition. I'll second that from an ex-Vermonter.

As far as Yamaha goes, that certainly isn't a given that they'd "take the crown". Yamaha makes nice stuff for sure and I've owned multiple Yamahas over the years, but it certainly is no given. You can bet your azz one will pay a premium for the Yamaha if/when such a thing is ever offered to the public.

Awesome engine. That's going to be one of it's big benefits. Don't think they make it though...Subaru maybe? Can't remember. Without looking, think it's the same engine that Wasteland is talking about (sans turbo) for their new rig.

I doubt it, wasteland is using the sled engine.
I think they said the wildcat will have the prowler 1000 engine.

I'm not so sure. My Rzr was $3,000 more than my Rhino and I'm seriously considering going back...even without a new version from Yamaha. (My sleds and jet skis were/are all Poo's though)

As for the Wildcat...looks pretty good to me but price/performance/dimensions all come into play.

im not sure a yamaha sport side by side would cost more either. you dont call $17-$18k for an XP a premium because i consider it to be about as much of a jacked up price as you can imagine.

2010 RZR "$"

I've been under the impression that Artic Cat did not have very good machines since they always finished towards thr bottom in any type of magazine shoot outs. Has anyone owned any of their current atvs and been happy with them?
It sounds pretty enticing though- 98 hp and more wheel travel!! maybe it will be a winner. In any event, as 1 guy said, the competition for Polaris will be good. I'm trying to imagine where this is all going to end up. What will we be seeing in 10 years!

I love Wheel Dollies! There perfect for showing in both regular show rooms (like Expos) when room is tight, & especially up on a stage, I'm sure they had to forklift it up from a rear loading ramp of some sort & stages can be tight, Wheel Dollies make sense. I'm ordering 8 for my garage (a set for my Sons 170 & Mine), It's nice to slide it around. I was using my Snow machines at first but they sold w/ my machines, So Wheel Dollies here I come....

I'll add that if your welding in the front, It's was easier just to spin that sucker to do the rear or other side than to move all your equipment around. That & I was laying out the steel for my doors & wanted to move my RZR, Wish I had them. I didn't have it running so I had to do the push/pull thing for 30 minutes.. That suckers HEAVY!.

Maybe this "Wildcat" will be as good as their Snow Machines? Those are freakin' awesome, reliable, & fun!
