Vancouver Island Help

Hi there everyone. I'm looking for somebody who lives around mid Vancouver Island. I'm hoping to buy either a rzr s or rzr, but I am a C6 quadriplegic and I need to make sure I can get in and out of the vehicle before I get to excited. I tried to get into the Kawasaki Mule & Teryx today and they were a little difficult, the Mule would probably be possible with some practice though. The Polaris on the other hand has a lower seat height, and looks like more fun so I would really appreciate it if somebody could give me a hand. Likewise if any quads or para's are on here and have any transfer tips please share.

Thanks,

Aaron

Re: Vancouver Island Help

Aaron, welcome to RZR Forum. There's five of us that live down in Victoria that have RZRs. If your ever coming down, you are more than welcome to try your entry / exit procedure in mine. I have doors, but I can bungee them open! Also, there is a new Polaris / RZR dealer in Courtenay, they may have a RZR in stock.

Re: Vancouver Island Help

Aaron,

Welcome.... I'm sure that you'll have no issues with the entry/exit on the RZR. While I was working for the Polaris dealership here in Williams Lake (Spectra Power Sports) we built up a couple or RZR's, with hand controls for two guys. Little mods here and there to make the transfer to/from alittle easier but both guys love them.

I met the guys from Courtneay at the last Polaris ATV dealer show I was at and they seemed like a good group of guys. Also I spoke with one of my Ranger customers from the Island who has been dealing with them for parts and service and he's told me they're great to deal with.

I'm not "in the industry" anymore (moved on to other things) but I have kept all my contacts. If I can help you out with anything let me know..

Scott..
