WORCS race this weekend

Hey Guys, there is a WORCS race this weekend in the Seattle area. I have never been to one yet. I was thinking about going up there from the Portland area. Has anybody been to watch one? I hear the tracks can be pretty long. Are they good for spectators? Are the pit areas open to check out the utv's? I'd like to take my boy up there but dont want him to be disappointed if the racing cant be watched very well. Any tips would be great. Thanks in advance...

Re: WORCS race this weekend

You should definitely go. The pits are open to all spectators. I haven't seen that track personally, but all the WORCS tracks have an area like an MX track with lots of turns etc that are all in one area, and then they head out intothe woods for a mile or so.. then back into the main area. So the majority of the track can be seen from one area.

We have 2 RZR's and 1 Rhino that we sponsor that will be racing there this weekend. One of them is driven by Doug Eichner, who is leading the points championship in his RZR.

Just a little note. The weatherman just predicted the possiblity of snow.
80+ last weekend and snow this weekend. Damn global warming. I'm going anyway. I'll be watching on Saturday.

Re: WORCS race this weekend

I made it up there with my son for the races on Saturday. It snowed on us pretty much all the way from the Oregon/Washington border to the track. A few short flurries at the track and a little rain. All and all a
fun day. LSR guys had a couple of fast rzr's, but, one got lost in the woods. Too bad because they looked like they all had a blast. HOLS Racing rzr pretty much had the rest of the field covered. I think there was 12 rigs in the rhino mod race. It was my first time to a WORCS race. Ill be back up there when they come in August.

p.s. If any body hears about what happend to the rzr in the woods, let us know.

Glad you had a good time with your son, that's my main reason for the RZR. We tavel the West coast one a month looking for riding spots...we'll have to check out a race.
