Re: Another new RZR S owner
Just bought the RZR S 2 weeks ago. Put on 200 miles near Alpine, AZ-
elevation 8400' up to 9100' at Big Lake. Put on another 150 miles riding from Prescott to Crown King AZ. What a rush! Looking forward to El Golfo Mexico in November and maybe a run to Box Canyon (Florence, Az) in Oct. Have 4 friends with the 08 RZR - they love them but after driving the S are now either going to spring for the long travel kits or upgrade to the S! The suspension is awesome! We put it through the test in rain, mud, severely rocky and steep terrain as well as hwy driving. The only problems encountered were minor belt slippage-squeeling which seems to result in little to no engine braking. Also, annoying shock/suspension noises - probably from the mud! Took it back to dealer - said everything was okay... NOT! Taking it to another dealer today. Has anyone else had the belt slipping issue on an 09 RZR S??? Anxious to see if the power out of the hole is any better after getting the belt issue resolved. Could use some more low end power. Getting 12-16 MPG in rough terrain - NICE!! I sure like the storage better on the RZR than the new RZR S - as the S has another roll bar on the back - making it difficult to fit storage boxes of any size on the sides. We bought the RZR stg. box - nice, but it wasted the little space we had - so took it off. We always take a good size cooler, tools, rain gear, etc. Also have an 04 Sportsman 500 HO and a 99 500 Sportsman - both have been GREAT ATV's since new!

Maybe you need a new dealer! Call Tony at Showlow, Az - they have 1 now and getting another next week. You're gonna love it!

Re: New RZR S owner
Hey I receive my RZRS two weeks ago . The thing is awsome! One problem so for. I rolled it off a 4' high bridge that wasn't wide enough for the RZRS. My mistake! It had been wide enough for my quad. Not the RZRS 60".5". No damage at all. Lifted it up right with little effort. There was a log though that high centered it in the stream after up righting. No problem though. I just ran out the winch cable and pulled it five feet off the log. powered down the sream about 50' and over the bank back to the trail. Needless to say my wife was scared. She told me later that she tought we would be ther all day getting out of there. Beside are little problem I have a hard time keeping her out of the driver's seat. I'm 6'5" and she is 5'2". Changing out the seats are becoming an problem. Are next mod will be sliders for the seats. She is demanding this mod. Oh well, it's just money. Besides the extra hight will help with my size, and damaged left knee from past pro football years.

Re: New RZR S owner
No resolution. 2nd dealer was of little help either- said it's "NORMAL"! But then also told us that the engine braking works fine - the new S doesn't even have engine braking! WE found that out from a reputable dealer (recommended by many friends) in Rye, Az. We wanted to take it there but he is booked for approx. 40 days ! He said we most likely have a clutch problem but that many dealers don't have a good RZR tech. I'm going to call Polaris and get their take on it.

Re: New RZR S owner
Check the bed bolts for tightness. They have came loose on my RZRS. The metal supports under the bed bounce on the frame. This causes the noise you are hearing
