CA Hello From S.f. East Bay Area

Just Recently Bought New Rzr 2009. Unfortinatly It Is In The Shop! Haveing New Motor Put In. I Put On 125 Miles In 5 Days And On The 5th Day Seized The Motor. Had To Have The Long Block Installed.
Attribute The Problem To Purchaseing The Windshiel And Top For It When I Ordered It.and The Terain I Ride In(sierra Foot Hills ) Is Very Fine Powder Red Dirt. It Isn't A Good Idea To Drive With The Windsheild On In This Type Of Enviroment. As The Dust Just Stays In The Cab Area And Right Into The Motor. Every Time I Got Back To The Cabin I Would Clean Out The Air Cleaner.
On The Fifth Day Is When I Took The Windshiled Off But It Was To Late By Then, Later That Day It Siezed The Motor Up.
It Gets Better There Is More To The Story But Just Wanted To See If Any One Else Has Had Issues With New Rzr.
David

I'll be moving to the bay area in about a month...good to know there are places to ride up there.

Right now we do almost all the riding in the dunes and while there is plenty of sand in the air box, we havent seen any motor issues yet.

Sand is a different beast I am sure. This dust is like talcum powder very fine. This area I ride is about 3 hours from where I am. There are some areas around in the bayarea, not sure is the RZR will be allowed in those. I haven't really looked as I am hopeing to get mine back this weekend, and do some more rideing!
