FBT checking in.
Howdy folks.
Old guy here, former sandrailer trying to decide which one of the UTV's to purchase. Was convinced it was the Rhino, then sat in a RZR last summer and found it comfy even for my large body.
So then I was leaning towards the RZR, then heard Kawasaki is coming with the Teryx.
One look at the Honda was all I needed to rule it out.
The, "Must haves" for me are, comfort, ride quality and, naturally, POWER.
Not to haul arse everywhere as much as to simply go everywhere. Looking for a strong comfortable dependable cruiser that I can enjoy for 10 years or so.
I have a trashed back, so long travel and seats will be done, probably before whatever I buy hits the sand for the first time.
The looks of the RZR are completely changed by the L.T. kits, IMHO.
I'd love to hear opinions on the best riding L.T. kit out there, and I saw one that had a lot of chassis stiffening brackets with it, but can't remember where. It didn't yet have a price. I have CRS...Can't Remember S&*t ...old age isn't for sissys.
I can only afford to buy one rig and go from there, so I gotta do it right the first time.
They all have their strong points, I need to decide which fits me best.

Re: FBT checking in.
Check out Mafia Industries they have a good LT kit. I mainly ride sand and so I sold my Rhino for a RZR it does way better of course a Rhino is sweet in the sand if you have huge $$ to spend.

FBT:
Still looking for a UTV, huh?
I now have a RZR with long travel in addition to my Rhino. I prefer the RZR with a few caveats.
1. Not much room to haul stuff like camping gear.
2. I hope that the RZR will hold up over time.
The power in the stock RZR is so much nicer than my Rhino, and my Rhino has: sheave, Duner's kit, cam, valves, springs, intake, exhaust & CDI.
One concern I would have for you is the RZR seats. They are pretty thin, and not too comfy from the factory. Aftermarket seats will have to deal with the limited about of space if they are going to retain maximum legroom.
On the long travel, the kit I think you are referring to is from FST. Very nice looking brackets and shock relocation. You can see pics of it on my RZR long travel page.
I won't be back to Sand Mountain until February, but you are welcome to take it for a spin around here or at Prairie City.

Re: FBT checking in.
Thanks guys...
Yeah, Jon, still lookin'.
Winter isn't my best time, so waiting until spring is a good thing anyway, and the Kawasaki will be out by then too. Like I said, I can only pull the trigger once.
Sat in a RZR last Memorial Day, it felt more like sitting "in" than sitting "on" which is something at least familiar to to me.
