Hello from Minnesota

Bought a RZR back in July love the ride. Only problem is that our wonderful State will not let you ride it any where but on a rode. Going in the woods on state land, or a state trail is against the law. Would like to here about your riding areas. May have to take my vacations to go and ride in some RZR friendly states. Unless I find a good place to ride, this thing is only going to plow snow.

Re: Hello from Minnesota

Welcome!
I am probably the wrong person to get started on this subject; as there are several leaders/orgs. in our off-road community who would like very much for you to send them in some membership money...but who would call you every name in the book (later) should you stand and fight on width (or god forbid 'weight') access-related issues.
Don't modify your rig and it's 50" here in Michigan...yet even with the largest maintained system in the nation (very poorly maintained/disjointed) we head to Canada; KY;TN or WV (www.trailsheaven.com).

As you've probably already learned; we never fight just the greenies and the govt. in this sport...as even your own fellow off-road community members will strike out on their own; stab you in the back and shut down a system to "only me" just as quickly.
