New FIRESTORM Cab Heater from Motoalliance

Thanks to those of you following and participating in our naming contest thread.

I posted some new pictures of our compact FIRESTORM heater unit available in early October. The pictures are buried deep in the thread, so it seemed good to make them available in a new thread.

Here are pictures of the unit installed as well as the page from our dealer guide. Looking for an OEM look and top-line functionality. Excited about this product:

These are being sold through The Sportsman Guide, Acme Tool, and potentially other Big Box retailers this year, so quantities stand to be quite limited.

However, due to the naming contest we are offering all RZR Forum members a 15% off price on a pre-sale basis. Here are the details.

1. Price of $399.99 includes all shipping costs and full defrost kit. Your price after discount is $340.

2. Units will ship on or around October 10 with no payment needed until then.

3. Just need contact information of name, email, and phone and we are good to go.

4. You can see the features on the guide. I'd highlight here the integrated shut-off valve so you don't have residual heat in summer, temperature and speed controls, compact size, massive heat, and OEM fit.

We have 200 units coming for the first run and we anticipate them being gone quickly. We have at least 800 units coming behind that throughout the winter. But those will be full price, so if you want one let me know. Pre-sale list has already begun.

Thanks for the great forum, guys.

This probably won't be compatible with the new 1000 will it?

Same here, interested if it fits the 1000. Assuming the phone storage compartment would have to be removed for the 1000 fitment.

Re: New FIRESTORM Cab Heater from Motoalliance

We will see. Our design guy is pretty solid. This unit mounts vertically on Eps models and keeps cup holder in play.

I'll see what he says about the 1000.

Re: New FIRESTORM Cab Heater from Motoalliance

Talked to our design guy. Anyone have pics of the cell phone holder?

He's going to track down a 1000 in the next few weeks. Sounds like we'll have one.

Might be up to six on the presale list. Let's sell all 200 and then I don't know what I'll tell Acme Tool and Sportsman Guide. Guess we'll have to get the next 800 a lot sooner.

Kidding aside, sometimes we introduce products and I know they are solid and will do well. Sometimes I get really pumped. This heater is one of those times.....just think it's the genuine thing and a lot of smart people (not all from Motoalliance) put their brain into this one.

I enjoy working with other companies in the industry on design ideas and also incorporating all your feedback on the boards.

Have a good night.

Re: New FIRESTORM Cab Heater from Motoalliance

Great. Thanks.

Our design guy has seen this, too, from what he just told me. Going to be a challenge to get any heater in the cab.

We do have our FIRESTORM Underhood model that goes under the hood and has a control system with multiple vents in the cab. Very popular for other models.....like having a full size auto heater and nothing in the cab.

Doesn't work for previous RZR's as there is no room under the hood like there is in Rangers. Can someone snap a photo under their hood to see if there is space to put a small heater unit.

The underhood unit goes for $499.99.

Re: New FIRESTORM Cab Heater from Motoalliance

Hey RZR Gang,

Thanks for all of who have signed up already. Sales look like they are going to be quite brisk on these. If you are interested shoot me an email with contact info and we'll get you on the list.

I've also attached photos for those of you with EPS to see that it'll fit quite well in the smaller space. We really wanted to get a nice one for these units where space is more challenging. Just have to hang it vertically.

Thanks everyone!

Peter

If an under hood installation could work that would be pretty slick.

Yeah, there's not room in most models. Checking on the RZR 1000 coming out now.

Re: New FIRESTORM Cab Heater from Motoalliance

Still waiting on final confirmation for RZR 1000.

We are up to 9-10 heaters presold already -- or 5% of what's coming in. Thanks for the support. They are still on track for early October.

Sportsman Guide and Acme Tool may wipe us out pretty quick -- maybe even in about 15 days. We will make sure RZR Forum guys get first priority so email me if you'd like to get on the presale list for 15% off.

We'll have another 300 units in November if we do sell out as quickly as we anticipate.

Thanks!
