Pics from the Red River

Went and rode at the river today. My buddy rolled it, punched a hole in the side of the fender. I managed to bury it in the mud. Closest tree was 100ft away. A fully extended winch and two 30' tow straps was enough to reach a nice tree. The Warn winch was pretty awesome. It pulled the RZR right up the river bed. The trails out there were very technical, hills, mud and lots of trees. The sand bar was awesome. On the way back to civilization I think I saw MaryMoe's Silver RZR in Sanger. I am 99.9% sure it was his.

Re: Pics from the Red River

Here is a pic of the fender damage. The dealer told me if I rolled it that would happen. They also told me to put a plastic cap over the frame there.

Grumpy makes a cool little protector for just that. He calls them rzr cookies. Do a search here to read about them. I picked a set up for myself. They look like they would stop exactly that!!!

Re: Pics from the Red River

Well I was kinda wanting to get to a car wash and get it clean ASAP. Plus I was coverered in mud myself. Very Nice ride BTW. I am so glad I didnt put the lights on this weekend. They would have been destroyed in that roll over. Your light bar looks very nice. Do you run an alternate battery?

Re: Pics from the Red River

the first two times i was out there with the rzr i was on the stock tires and it did great.. i have dune stars now but i still like to put the knobbys on and play.. it's faster through the trails with the stock knobbies than it is with 4 dunestars..

planning a trip the weekend of april 12th.. you should bring the greenie and come..

Looks fun, were you up at Red River ATV park or were you just on the River?
