I have my 15 yr old nephew coming down to NC later in july. I was thinking of a camp/ATV trip to WV. Possible on the weekend of the 25,26,27,28 july...anyone wanna go?

dont know if youve done hatfield mccoy in july before but it is dusty dusty . still a good time but take extra water and rags to wipe off with goggles instead of glasses and many use those disposable white breething masks that you use when sanding and stuff especaily if you go with a big group

Thanks for the info ohiotodd...according to a post on another board it has been raining up there so the dust is not too bad.
we have a small group going up and several showed interest but no one has committed. Anyone want go?

I can meet you around the wagon wheel sat evening and stay until sunday. The dust can get real bad real quick with out rain.

I could drive up sat. morning and spend the day meeting at wagon wheel between 7/8 am?????

Hey ill be there too!!! Right now my plan is to be down there by the evening of the 24th@ hilltop escape and staying until sunday sometime.
I have some flatlander friends that will be coming up also.I think proby 3 -5 of them and proby another 4-6 from around here locally.Ill be on green RZR with hard roof and booming sound system.This will be first real ride on the RZR without front or rear sway bars.Tried it out at home after discovered rear sway bar had went to pieces and it sure does give alot more travel w/out them.Just have to be a little more careful w/high speed turns.So far this thing will rock crawl like a beast w/out them.Stiffened shocks to the max and got a little more clearance also.Anyhow...will be watching for ya

Keep a watchful eye on your fuel cans.The bed of these things get very hot causing major expansion of the can.Pretty sure i had one on the verge of exploding if it hadnt been for friend riding behind me who happened to notice it!!SCARY!Will melt ice down beer quickly but manages to keep food very warm.

I f it rains the day before you ride and not the day you get there..by mid day it will be very dusty.live 45 minutes from there

Hey guy,s whats up-- spent 4 hours driving up-- over $300.00- in just fuel-- No one to ride with .--for some odd reason I thought a few RZR,s were going to meet @ the wagon wheel ? The only one I saw all day was leaving the W.W. store area as I arrived.
