I would say definitly stick with a 12" wheel especially with the 26" tires. We have ruined a couple sets of 14" wheels just because there isn't enough sidewall to protect the lip. I know the 14"s look sweet, but they will get scratched and dinged up worse. The 12"s get beat up bad enough, so..... As far as ride, I think they are the same and the 14"s may handle slightly better. For me, it's always been about the looks and the 14"s look the best. But, I don't have any worrys with the 12" wheels now so I can't justify getting 14"s. The 12" wheels will work just fine with the lift. Also, most of the time the tires are cheaper for the 12"s. 14"s are ok if they are on a big enough tire, but a 26" tire just doesn't have enough sidewall.

Hope I helped. Let me know if I can help you with anything else, ERIC.

Your opinion please. I am getting ready to purchase tires & wheels (tonight). I cannot decide if I should get 12" or 14" wheels w/26" tires( Ride quality,Looks and handling)Would I have any problems after my lift install if I went with 12" wheels? I am just thinking maybe the 12's would be less likely to get scuffed up (the rim edge)as bad because of more sidewall to protect it? I know, I know, I'm almost as bad as a woman about this decision. Just a quick reply would be appreciated.
