Re: My ride with custom paint
when i seen the painted polaris plastic i thought that it wouldn't last very long out in the woods but i looked at a new 2009 orange se at the dealer, the paint is hard as a rock. i even took my car key to the inside of the fender and it didn't leave a mark. so i was suprised at how scratch resistant the paint is. alot better than my plain plastic that now looks like its been ran through a cheese grader lol.

Re: My ride with custom paint
yeah... it all depends on preparation before painting... alot of people skip necessary steps when painting plastic... much diff process than metal... i own a body shop here in town and we have painted quite a few plastic bodies for snowmobiles, atvs, and sport bikes in the past... we have finally found a combination that holds up the best for us... i just wanted something different on my machine so i figured it would be a goodjob for my airbrush artist ... the plastic looks much better in person than in the pics...

Luv the paint on your RZR, I think it's perfect, wishing my RZ was that color, as my nick name is Babyblues.
Nice work !!! Area all the bars (rollcage bumper etc) just powdercoated ?

Re: My ride with custom paint
no actually all the bars are single stage industrial paint.... its holding up suprisingly well i also painted them because i own a body shop... obviously more cost effective for me

Re: My ride with custom paint
You need to give your air brush man a raise or whatever it takes to keep him around. Fantastic work.
