It's true, I don't, I was just making a slightly humourous comment based on all the waranty claims people have talked about on here. Obviously they only represent some of the RZR owners out there (and unhappy ones usually post more than happy ones I reckon).

OK, serious time, what type of terrain do you reckon you'll be on most of the time? Trails, dunes, pavement? It's going to make a difference as to what you put on it.

Protection will be the first you want to do. Skids (get full belly, sides, front and rear), rear brace, cv guards (if you want), and anything else you might have to have to protect the RZR from the obsicles you will face in your type of riding. 2nd, I would do is maybe wheels and tires (if you are going to replace them). If you run spacers, you might want to get the 4/156 to 4/110 conversions because there are alot more wheel choices out there in the 4/110 pattern. 3rd, maybe a winch because you will want to test out your new tires. If you get heavier tires and wheels, you might want to look into a clutch kit with belt. After that, you can do what you want as far as performance, exc.

Really I would do something to protect you the driver and your passenger. some 4 point seatbelts. 700 miles and only needed a winch once which I don't have. I just got pulled out. LOL

mostly woods i live in western pa whos full guards? any good dealers for wheel tire combo? I am going to Praire City Il to pick it up so if any dealers along the indiana/ ohio way i could look into that i may save shipping!! Turbo i hope in near future so i'll wait on the clutching. My biggest complaint was clearance, lift & tires / wheels solved that.

I do love my 4 point harnesses from Dragonfire racing that have the sternum strap = feels safer

1. Tie rods
2. Billet front roller bearing cage
3. Front bumper (Supported by lower frame, not radiator)
4. Rear bumber ( Weld up better supports underneath)
5. Full skids
6. Bead locks
7. Stearing wheel bushings ( too much slop)
8. Billet hubs (WAY TOO weak)
9. Nerf bars
10. Air filter (canister, K&N, anything but stock)
11. pipe, belt, seats ect. (the rest is for looks, feel and pure SATISFACTION!)

jeez. maybe he should just get something else? are there that many weak points right from the get go? i was almost sold on the new razr s coming out but am disturbed with all the stock issues.

where did you get the wheels?(dealer) $? I would like to get a good bead lock and the swamp lites? any size I shoud think on? and lift? I want to run the gncc races so i'll have look at the rules! I what to order ASAP ! thanks for your time !

I assume you were suggesting 3rd party warranty? That's the best way to get screwed if I know any. 3rd party warranty's are worthless.

OP, if you want to run a gncc think about survival first. Underbody/cv protection, chassis optimization, that type of thing. You're on the right track with the beadlock wheels but think about a Goodyear MTR or Maxxis Bighorn tire. The swamplite isn't the most durable tire for racing. I would also go with a 12in wheel to save weight. You can get a good price on a wheel/tire set at RZRHeadquarters.com. Simpson has door nets that you may be required to have. For sure go with an aftermarket airbox, we've had good luck with the K&N airbox-it gives about 3.5 hp right out of the box. You may also look into the AFE unit. I would go with some aftermarket seats for support and comfort as well as a good set of four pt. belts. Crow is a good company to check out. Let me know if I can help you with any details.

EASY....WHEELS and TIRES...the stock wheels and tires on the RZR and complete BUNK!!!....i rode my rzr 2000 miles on the stockers and thought it was awesome....just put 14" ITP SS 212's and 26" terracross tires on it and it is night and day....looks and performance....
