Looks great! Nice cage, fits the Rzr very nice. I also like those wheels. Are the fronts 6" wide? Do you by any chance know what they weigh? Are those the +6" A arms?

Best design yet 'to look at' by far, IMO.

Why thank you very much

We can powdercoat them in any color and we can match our long travel. I like the fashion end lol....

What have you done to your RZR?

Not sure what the tires weigh. They are 6+ A-arms. We installed 6 hid lights and changed the stock bulbs to hid. You can e-mail me at kelly@hotride4u.com if you want pictures.

Thanks,

Up here in Michigan, we're all forced to play the 50" game... (Polaris tried to help us out on the width issue back in '05; yet we were beaten back in less than a day by the largest motorcyclist district in the country and their red-headed-step-child atv buddies)...so we have to be a bit more 'practical' when it comes to the aftermarket; even on our way up to the LT kits that we all lust after.

Given this, I've decided to try and make our Rzr just as dependable as possible when we win the lottery ...with just about anything that you'll never see:
(Hopefully) these hardened hubs and rear diff strengthener from Lonestar...

...and maybe Holz's gusseting kit and UHMV skid plate for starters. (would love to see the frame strengthening gusset kits that everybody's been racing on their own rigs and promising, yet not delivering, for months now).

As it looks now, though; your frame (another improvement must) is definitely the best 'looking' out there, IMO.
I think a lot of us would like to see how many of these frames actually hold up when rolled reasonably...yet there has to be something to be said for allowing some cage tweakage as a matter of safe design, on such a light vehicle.(If I'm rollin'...I don't care how much the cage costs; just that it's been somewhat proven in real life to work as advertised).

Re: HotRide4u Baja Cage

We need the long travel because we travel at high speeds over rough terrain. We also jump. In California we are fortunate that we can ride in almost any condition, we are not as limited in width. Our long travel includes the frame strengthening gusset kit. Are you riding in moguls at high speed or jumping? We have a professional manufacturing engineer at our company, he also used to race. You can call and speak with Craig if you have any questions. From what I understand it is not necessary to ad an aftermarket strengthening kit unless you use a long travel? Polaris tested the RZR stock under extreme conditions.
We use a software program to run a finite element analysis to see how much stress the cage can take. We have also done destructive testing to see how if we could tear things up. (not recommended)…

We also have had a few customers call us and tell us how great our cage held up in a roll. They felt it saved their lives or the family’s lives. That is when you know you are doing a good job.

Our cage and products we sell are used in our RZR’s and Ranger. We give a lifetime warranty on the long travel.

You can never predict the future however I feel security riding in our products and knowing our children, family, friends, and customers are safer. This matters most to me as a wife and mother.

Thanks,
Kelly

It has been well documented that every single national orv leader since the beginning has gutlessly dodged anything to do with the 50" issue in the slightest...period. We travel over the same terrain and like to do the same things with our rigs; yet have just plain quit sending our money into these "shared trails" organizations who could frankly care less what happens in regards to community access issues east of the Rockies. (the last time a 'major manufacturer' even stuck their neck out for reasonable widths at the largest maintained system in this nation...they were rudely beaten down in less than a day by major off-road groups and their cronies at the national level cheering 'em on).

"...From what I understand it is not necessary to ad an aftermarket strengthening kit unless you use a long travel? Polaris tested the RZR stock under extreme conditions...."

From the Glamisdunes.com website:

(see post#10 and #15):
Corr Mayhem - GlamisDunes.com

Corr Mayhem - GlamisDunes.com
See posts #20; #47 (the video that mysteriously disappeared) ; #33's 'big mystery' involving the actual damage done to those non-gusseted frames that was never revealed...along with the 'conspiracy'-related story that effectively diverted attention from what happened on post #42.

The Rzr is indeed a fantastic machine and I would encourage anyone much like myself to buy one...yet we aren't presently receiving all the parts needed from the aftermarket to survive what sometimes indeed happens to us non-racers pushing the limits..no matter how 'mooey macho' the race circuit (understandably) paints itself out to be. If you take another look at post #15 in the first link...you'll finally find a proven aftermarket podium winner insisting just what(?)...that it is the RECREATIONAL riders who are truly time an time again discovering the weakest links on these machines!( I'd rather take my chances with a professional driver on any race course than be a passenger alongside many of the crazies you meet up with blasting through the Appalachian mountains or through the forests in my region...).

There are folks out there (and not you, Kelly) trying to separate 'the track' from reality and I've simply been one of the few out here clamoring for somebody to simply give us the damn parts that you race with every weekend...and the debate would certainly be over.
I don't expect a race-ready Rzr out of the crate...yet I am willing to make my rig that rock solid for simple dependability's sake...if the aftermarket would be willing to slow down enough on the 'bling-bling' offerings; to indeed offer me those products!(bottom line...I frankly cannot afford the kind of damage that I'm seeing and hearing about that was relatively rare with the Rhinos...nor am I necessarily complaining about the overall design...merely asking the aftermarket to provide us with the exact same parts that many do for the Rhino right now).

Re: HotRide4u Baja Cage

The Stock RZR is great. Everyone likes something different or has different needs. People buy stuff for status (posers) and some buy it for the intended use. Your average person doesn't need to spend $45,000 for a true Baja RZR unless they are going to race. We have three RZR's and we have different aftermarket stuff on all of them. In my opinion if you are going to make upgrades, you need to make a list of needs then wants. We interview our customers to see what type of conditions they will ride in. We need roofs in CA to block the sun, Doors to keep you safer, custom cages to provide better protection because we ride hard, 5pt seat belts for added safety, suspension seats make a much softer ride when we ride for hours nonstop, we have long travel because we drive fast over moguls and jump, we need HID lights because we drive fast in the dark etc....

We sell to hunters that have different needs than desert rides, duners that have different needs than farmers etc...

It is crazy to force people to think they need everything. If we make you happy with your purchase you will be a loyal customer and that is the best type of advertizing...

I have a Ranger also, I enjoy taking the family in it and it is faster than the Rhino. All well made products are good if they meet your needs.

At Hotride4u we give a lifetime guarantee on certain products we make.
If you want to call me at 661-587-7702.

Thanks,
Kelly
