1st flip over
Today my son and i were blasting on a 3 hr ride. (wolcott CT) all rocks nasty trails, I was able to go just about everywhere. I am not used to being somewhat limited in my ability to transfer bodyweight for the purpose of climbing scary rock stuff. But it did well in what i consider to be the tightest and harshest conditions. Anyway, we were buzzing around and i went for the spin around and over she went. Onto the pass. side. no one hurt, it was weird being suspended in the air in the seat with the belt holding me in place.
On another matter, i need more ground clearance without any extra width, i don't plan on any more donuts so the increased C.O.G. won't be a concern, but did quite a bit of bottoming out today......later bros

Re: 1st flip over
Some of the after market stock replacement shocks will get you more ground clearance Lone Star Racing makes a kit that is only 4 inches over per side and stock shocks can be used with it.

Re: 1st flip over
It is a pretty strange feeling hanging there by the seat belt isn't it?

Re: 1st flip over
Hey, I was wondering... Were you in awd when you went over. I tipped not too long ago and I think it was because the awd kicked in and bit when I wanted it to slide.I slipped out of my belt and hit my shoulder on the cage. Thank god for helmets. I know I sound like a tool but I am pretty conservative and I swear it was the awd as it was the first and last time i've had it on.

Re: 1st flip over
You mentioned wanting to transfer weight on climbs, keep in mind that the high COG will make climbs more difficult as well.
Not to sound like a jerk (cause I don't mean it that way) but maybe you just need to pick your lines better. When I started riding quads in rocky areas it was a MAJOR change in the way I had to think, and took some getting used to. Maybe the change from a quad to a Rzr requires a rethinking as well? Much like going from a quad to offroading a truck.
