Re: Gauges

That is nice man. Did you do the gauges yourself? I like that may have to get some instructions from you. An is your roll cage powder coated?

Re: Gauges

Neat and Tidy! Where did you get the gauge off set to bring it flush on the dash? Is that an electronic oil pressure gauge? Or a mechanical one with the cappilary tube?

Re: Gauges

Thanks for the complements.

I installed them with a friends help.
The Oil & Boost/Vac. gauges are mechanical with the capillary tube.
The Pyrometer & Wideband o/2 are electronic.
The gauge rings are from Autometer. They come in a 3 pack for $10.

The roll cage is stock.

All gauges are illuminated through the dial, with the numbers lighting up. They are wired to come on as soon as the key is turned, and are very easy to read at night.

There was one thing that was done after the pictures were taken. We installed a very small switch that turns the intercooler fan on and off.

I'm very pleased how well it has turned out. It really was well worth the effort. The only thing I forgot to factor in to the cost of the project is the months of chiropractic bills from contorting myself under that dashboard.

Re: Gauges

What was the cost of each of the gauges and are they nice to have or need to have with the turbo setup? What was the total overall cost of the installation? Have you had a chance to dyno your RZR since you added the turbo to wee what HP you are getting to the rear wheels?

Re: Gauges

2 are nice to have and 2 are need to have.

The Oil pressure and Pyrometer are nice to have.
The Boost/Vac & Wideband o/2 are a must have.

The Wideband was about $360. and the Boost/Vac was about $ 70.

No Dyno that I know of around here.
