Playin' in the yard.

I'm cutting the hillside back behind my house to build a garage, and I decided to play around a little. Finally got my buddy to ride with me, too! Gotta figure out a way to fit her with a 4-point restraint and sternum strap

(And for the record, this is the only time I've taken it out without a skull bucket)

Here's a shot of my inclinometer....sitting still on the hill

Looks like a fun little play place in the back might delay the garage a couple more days and play around haha!! That would be awsome to get a restraint system set-up for the dog to might ride with you more then.

Actually, it's raining today, so they probably won't be back for a while, so it's muddin' time! Won't be getting topsoil till later this week, so doesn't really matter how I tear it up now.

I spent a while last night working up ideas for her....I gotta find a extra-large, heavy duty dog harness, then fix a strap from it and run the T-bar's cotterpin thru the end of it

She actually did great riding around...ran her around the flat part of the yard for a while...She loves riding in the truck with her head out the window, and once I got moving fast enough for some breeze to hit her, she decided she loved it.....had to tell her to load out when we were done. She just sits in the seat; I could probably just put the stock seat belt on her and she'd be cool with it.

Re: Playin' in the yard.

I'm gonna order one of these to fit...gotta do some pretty extensive measurements to fit the dog right, then I"m going to take a piece of a 1" nylon ratchet strap, loop it and glue the ends flat sides together with Gorilla glue for about the last 6". Punch a hole thru and put a metal grommet in it that's big enough for the T-handle's pin to fit thru. Then I'm gonna put a stong carabiner clip on the loop to clip to the dog harness. Take the T-bar out, slide the glued end of the loop down the socket, put the pin thru and clip the whole thing to her chest harness. Probably run another strap to the seat back or the cage behind the seat for more stability.

X-Back Pulling Harness w/Nylon: Ultra Paws

Or at least, that's the plan. I'll hafta make some measurements to figure out how long a loop to make to give her some movement in the cab,but not enough to fall out the door.
