pipedup's rzr

Hey guys I finally have an opportunity to post a couple pics of my new rzr. Let me know what you think..............

I made the full length skid plate myself and the rear window, I think they didn't turn out too bad.

Re: pipedup's rzr

The skid plate is made out of 1/4" virgin plastic, it is suppose to handle the cold without cracking. The tires are 29.5"outlaws, they seem to work great in the deep snow I will have to give them a try in the muskeg, I am not sure I will have enuff power......lol......although low range is awesome on this unit.I could post a step by step on how I built the skid plate as well as the rear window if anyone is interested. The skid plate took one full 4x8' sheet, I only had to trim the sides.

Re: pipedup's rzr

Here's a few more pics:
This is the redneck hoist, it was way easier putting that skid plate on.

My hood supposedly blew off in transport so I thought I would make it so it never blew off again..........with a set of hotroddy hood pins.

Just trying a little rock climbing..........

Nice looking rig. What material is the tow strap and length? Do you carry a pulley/block of any kind?

Re: pipedup's rzr

Hi there that towstrap is 2"wide nylon and it is 20' long, it is definately overkill for quads however I don't want it to break. I also carry a snatch block in case my 3500lb winch will have to work extra hard. Thanks for the kind comments.

When I bought it it had heavyduty springs on the rear and 1" spring spacer on the front with all the preloads cranked right up.The tires rubbed on the front floor boards when I turned, I put a highlifter 2" lift kit on it and set the preloads down 2 notchs in the front and one notch in the rear, it went from 13" ground clearance to a shade over 15" now and the tires don't rub anymore. There also is a 1"billet spacer in the rear so the 12" wide tires don't rub. I put a EPI stage II clutch kit in it yesterday and only had a short time to try it out, it engages alot harder now, I will keep you guys posted. I want to put an exhaust system and programmer in it I am just not sure which one to get yet??????
